Story
A bay colt born in March 2023 who gave our association its name. Fate did not let us save him — we found him dead in the pasture and to this day we do not know what happened to him.
His short life reminds us why we do all this.

Would you like to help?
Sadly you can no longer contribute for Rio — he is no longer with us. But you can contribute to the work of our association and so help the horses we can still save.

What we need right now →
A light aluminium shovel for mucking out, a corrugated pipe for a reservoir, LDPE hoses for a water supply, concrete utility poles. Maybe you know where to find them.
Thank you →
