Story
Our very good neighbour Marek was looking for a horse at the time. We found Jaška in an advert — a one-eyed mare, the kind that is hard to find a home for. She most likely injured the eye at birth, nobody knows how, and because of it she was struck off the national Muráň Noriker breeding register. We felt for her, so we gave her a home. Marek is slowly learning about horses and about working with them around her.
We have never put her to any work. Here Jaša became Lucinka's princess — the second mare, the one who keeps close to the leader, circles around her and watches over her and the foals. In time our vet operated on the damaged eye so that it would not cause trouble — and since then Jaša has been living her quiet life in the herd. Even with one eye she lacks for nothing.

We do not collect for Jaška. She belongs to our neighbour Marek. She lives here in the herd and we look after her, but she is not our horse — and collecting money for someone else's horse through the association would not be right.
